The Glow Gala 2025: A Night That Still Shines

The Glow Gala 2025: A Night That Still Shines

It’s been three weeks since the Glow Gala hosted by BC Women’s Health Foundation, and while the excitement of that evening has naturally settled, the meaning behind it continues to stay with me. I’ve had time to revisit the images our team captured, and with every photo, I’m reminded of just how special this night truly was – for the guests, for our mission, and for our growing Glowing Beyond community.

The Glow Gala was a celebration of purpose, connection, and the collective power of showing up for women’s health. As someone who spends her days photographing stories of confidence, transformation, and empowerment, this night felt like an extension of that work—on a much bigger scale.

A Room Filled With Intention and Heart

When the doors opened, the energy inside the room felt electric yet warm—an atmosphere you can’t stage or manufacture. Guests arrived beautifully dressed, ready to support the cause, ready to meet new faces, and ready to be part of something meaningful.

Throughout the night, we witnessed:

  • heartfelt conversations between strangers who quickly became friends
  • women sharing their own stories with honesty and grace
  • supporters who donated not just money, but encouragement and belief
  • joyful, candid, unfiltered moments that reminded us why community matters

As a photographer, capturing these expressions, real joy, tenderness, empowerment, pride.

Behind the Lens: What Our Team Saw

Our photography team worked quietly in the background, moving through the crowd to document the details that often go unnoticed: a hand squeeze, a proud smile, a moment of reflection, a burst of laughter. These are the tiny things that tell a bigger story. They reflect not only the success of the evening, but also what Denise Lin Photography stands for: capturing people at their truest and most luminous.

For now, here are a few of my favourites—moments that still glow.
